Meg Reynolds: A Comic Year

A Comic Year.png

Burlington, Vermont poet and artist Meg Reynolds has a fabulous new book of poetry comics out this month from Finishing Line Press called A Comic Year, a moving look at a year in her life with all of its ups and downs, all of its beauty and strangeness.

Poet Frances Cannon had this to say about A Comic Year:

Meg Reynolds has found her voice in the niche genres of diary comics and visual poetry. She excels in both elements of this hybrid genre: her skills as a writer and artist come together to form this powerful book. The content is vulnerable, honest, and effective.

To learn more about A Comic Year, you can tune in to Episode 3 of the Ruth Stone Foundation Podcast to hear Meg and Bianca Stone discuss Meg’s process, marking time with ritual, grief, relationships, and more.

To celebrate her book’s publication day, we asked Meg to draw us an original panel. Thank you, Meg, and congratulations on your book!
