Our heartfelt thanks to…

Still North Books & Bar is a bookstore, bar, and café in downtown Hanover, New Hampshire, just two blocks from Dartmouth’s campus. In addition to a curated selection of books, they offer craft beer, a diverse wine list, the best coffee in Hanover (in their biased opinion), and a menu of light bites highlighting local, seasonal ingredients where possible and made entirely in-house, down to their freshly baked bread. Their hobbies include: jigsaw puzzles, curling up in cozy spaces with a book and a mug of wine, and meeting with friends over coffee, so they made a space for our entire community to do just that! ✶

Hedgerow Flowers logo

Hedgerow Flowers, in Hartland, Vermont, has generously provided flowers for Literary North events since the very beginning. We are always bowled over by Sarah White’s stunning arrangements, which make creative use of whatever is local and currently blooming at her tiny flower farm. This year’s arrangements will be no exception. ✶

Taylor Mardis Katz

Taylor Mardis Katz is a poet and farmer living in rural Vermont. With her partner, she runs Free Verse Farm, an herb farm & apothecary with a poetry backbone. She is also a marketing freelancer, an ordained minister, a freelance writer and editor, and a poet for hire who has joined us since the very first Poetry and Pie. During the afternoon, you can commission a custom poem from Taylor. Poems are offered on a sliding scale basis, and will be written on a portable Remington typewriter. This one-of-a-kind poetry artifact will be yours to keep as a remembrance of all the poetry that summer in Vermont has to offer. ✶

Our pie bakers include many of our dear friends and family members. They show up every year with the most delicious home-made creations. Poetry & Pie would only be half as good without their generosity and talent. ✶
