"Making Magic for Kids: Writing and Publishing Middle Grade and YA Speculative Fiction" Workshop

  • The Ford House, SNHU 2500 North River Road Manchester, NH, 03106 United States (map)

Do your stories resonate with teens or tweens (or the young at heart)? Join instructors Adi Rule and Erin E. Moulton as we dive into the world of writing spec fiction for young people. We’ll dig deeper into our own stories with discussion and exercises, and touch on aspects of the writing life as well, including agents and publishing. We’ll tackle both the concrete (How long should my middle grade novel be?) and the squishy (What is young adult fiction, anyway?). Bring your questions, your thoughts, and your imagination.

The workshop will be held at The Ford House on the campus of SNHU.

Registration: Registration is limited to 12 students. Register online to ensure your spot in the class.

Cost: $50 for NHWP members; $75 for non-members.
