NHIA alumni, Lyell Castonguay and Carand Burnet, will be hosting a workshop on block-printing with a large-format portable press in Victory Park.
Lyell Castonguay teaches woodcut at print studios throughout New England. He is also the director of BIG INK, a collaborative project that encourages other artists to practice large woodcut.
Carand Burnet is a poet and essayist. Her writing has been featured in Crazyhorse, Gulf Coast, Jubilat Poetry Journal, and her work is listed as a notable in the Best American Essays. She is author of the chapbook Henhouse.
