You've written a whole lot of poems and are ready to see if or how they will work together as a chapbook or a full-length book. Join New Hampshire Poet Laureate Alice B Fogel for this workshop that will help you think about how to organize a collection in such a way that it becomes its own work of art. We'll look at thematic, structural, emotional, stylistic, and other aspects involved in creating a balanced experience of unity and variety for a reader. When you come, bring a couple of other authors' poetry books, to talk about what works or doesn't work in their presentation, and bring your own collection of poems (20-60, on paper) and any notes, thoughts, or questions you have on putting it together as a book.
This event will be held at the Tuck Museum in Hampton, New Hampshire.
